- An extra coarse black hone (grit 70) for coarse sharpening and restoring knife edges
- A coarse red hone - grit 120 for coarse sharpening
- Medium green hone - grit 280 for less frequent grinding and blade maintenance.
- Fine blue hone - grit 600 for frequent touch-ups to keep the blade extremely sharp
- Ultra-fine ceramic yellow hone (grit 1000) for polishing the edge to a razor-sharp finish.
- Safety holders fitted to each hone. The clamps are grooved for better grip and come in different colours
- A guide rod for each hone
- Grinding clamp with angle indication
- Extra screw for the clamp (used for thicker blades)
- Storage box with room for all components helps you keep track of everything
- Grinding oil, specially designed for use in knife sharpening (for diamond sharpeners we recommend using water instead of oil)
Recommended grinding angles:
- 17° Angle - This angle is recommended for razor blades, scalpels and similar blades. Provides an incredibly sharp knife edge, which does however require frequent sharpening.
- 20° Angle - This angle is recommended for kitchen and filleting knives that are not for heavy use.
- 25° Angle - This angle is recommended for most knives that need a sharp and durable edge. Particularly good for hunting and outdoor knives.
- 30° - This angle is recommended for knives intended for heavy duty use, such as industrial knives used to cut rope, cardboard and carpet
