This website is operated by GrejFreak ApS. Access to and use of this website and the products and services available through this website are subject to the following terms.

The following conditions apply when purchasing in the UK. By placing an order on GearFreak.uk you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms and our dealings with you are subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

1.2 Changes to terms

GearFreak reserves the right to change these terms without notifying the customer beforehand. All orders will follow the terms that were applied at the moment of purchase, visible at GearFreak’s website. All changes apply immediately unless otherwise specified. The latest terms can always be found on our website GearFreak.uk. The customers will not necessarily be informed individually of these changes. The customer is responsible for reading and accepting the terms before any purchase.

2. Privacy policy

GearFreak is accountable for the protection of any personal information that you provide us and thus the maintenance of Consumer Protection Laws in compliance with the Personal Data Act.

In general, we do not transfer your personal data to a third party without your consent. However, information that is used for the delivery of goods will be transferred to the shipping company used by GearFreak.

3. Payment

You can pay by the following means of payment: VISA, MasterCard and Klarna. All payments are charged in GBP.

When using a VISA, MasterCard, VISA Electron or Klarna, we will only charge your card when the goods are in stock and ready to be dispatched to you.

For all card types and payments we can only charge you for the amount you have ordered and can never charge a larger amount than you have authorized and approved.

4. Delivery

GearFreak.uk delivers to the UK mainland. Dispatch times may vary according to availability. Any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times may occasionally be subject to unforeseen delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure, for which we are not responsible.

We always aim to send orders all week days. During busy periods this is not always possible due to order volumes and therefore your orders will be sent as soon as possible. We can not offer refunds for late delivery.

All shipping time estimates are made on the basis of the information that has been provided to GearFreak.uk by the couriers which are used to ship goods, and the information that has been received from the manufacturers and publishers of the goods.

Delivery costs are displayed on the confirmation page as a separate cost beyond the price for the product(s). The price will depend on the service you choose at the checkout.

If the order is significantly heavier, an additional cost can be charged before dispatch.

*GearFreak only ship to UK mainland and not islands like Isle of man and others.

**Unfortunately, we do not ship to BFPO (soldiers deployed overseas/outside the UK) due to shipping limitations.

4.1 Complaints regarding non-delivered and delivered parcels

Complaints about non-delivery of a parcel must be made as soon as possible to our customer service.

In the event of non-delivery, our customer service must be informed no later than 20 days after the last scan by the shipping company.

If the parcel has been delivered but not received, our customer service team must be informed with a signed DOR status within 20 days from the day of delivery due to shipping partner deadlines.

DOR statements can be sent to you from our customer service team.

5. Right of withdrawal (Cancellation)

You have a statutory right to cancel and return your order within 14 days from the day you received it, for any reason and with no justification. If the deadline expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitutional day, Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, the deadline is extended to the following working day.

Cancellation requests can also be done by contacting GearFreak customer support or by giving a written notice of the cancellation request through email or chat. After giving the cancellation request to GearFreak, it may take up to 48h for the order to be cancelled in which time the order may already be sent out, thus making the cancellation impossible.

Orders that could have been cancelled in good time by the customer but were already sent out are not considered cancelled.

5.1 How to cancel a product or order

You cancel the order by giving us a clear message of your cancellation. The cancellation period is met if you send your notification that you regret the purchase before the withdrawal period has expired.

You may inform us of the cancellation either by sending an email clearly stating that you are cancelling your order at: INFO@GearFreak.uk or phone us on: 33-0808-4984.

You can not cancel by refusing to receive the item or by failing to pick it up without at the same time giving notice that you wish to cancel.

You can use the standard cancellation form, which is at the end of these terms but it is not mandatory.

5.2 Exceptions to the cancellation right

It is not possible to cancel items like customized products, impregnation, weapon cleaning, freeze-dried food products, customized products within the 14 days cancelation period.

5.3 Refund of money in case of cancellation

When you cancel your order, we will refund all payments received from you, including any delivery costs if you have returned the entire order. However, this does not apply to extra costs once you have chosen a form of delivery that is more expensive than the cheapest form of delivery that we offer.

If you have purchased several items in an order and only want to cancel part of your purchase, we will not refund the delivery costs.

We will refund the amount without undue delay and in any case within 14 days from the date we received your notice of cancellation. However, we may withhold the amount until we have received the returned goods, or until you have submitted documentation that the goods have been returned.

We will make a refund using the same payment method as the original transaction. In any case, you will not be charged any extra fees as a result of the refund.

Any costs for return shipping are paid by the customer except if the item is defective or an incorrect item has been sent in relation to what has been ordered.

6. Return policy

You have the right to return your purchase according to consumer rights. The product must be returned in substantially the same condition and quantity as when you received it.

We provide a 100 days return policy from receipt of the order. The right of return is conditional on the item being returned to us unused, in unbroken packaging and undamaged condition. You pay for the return yourself. The return right does not change your statutory right to cancel the purchase, as described above. The return right runs from the expiry of the right of withdrawal.

Upon receiving the returned goods, all items will be checked that they meet the conditions under the returns policy/procedure. A refund or replacement will be processed as quickly as possible. Returned goods are normally processed upon their return. We are entitled to wait with the refund until we have received the returned items to be able to check the condition of the goods.

6.1 Return of the item and return costs

If you regret the purchase of an item, you must send or deliver the item without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. The deadline is met if you return the goods before the end of the 14 days.

Pack returning goods well to avoid damage. Items can not be sent per cash on delivery or without delivery at the address. You must pay for the return of the item/order yourself.

6.2 The condition of the item when returning and packaging

You are only liable for a possible deterioration in the value of the item due to the handling of the goods other than what is necessary to determine the nature of the goods, their properties and the way in which they function. You must return the item in the original packaging.

The packaging can be opened but not destroyed. If the packaging is missing or damaged, it may constitute an impairment for which you are liable. You should also make sure that the item is safely wrapped when you return it. You bear the risk for the package/goods until we receive them. Therefore save the postal receipt and possibly track and trace number.

7. Complaints

When purchasing goods, the rules of the Consumer Rights Act apply. You have a 2-year warranty if the item has a defect. A defect is, for example, a manufacturing or material defect, or incorrect information about the item. On the other hand, ordinary wear and tear or damage you have caused to the item yourself is not a defect.

If the item has a defect and you complain in a timely manner, you have the right to have the item repaired or exchanged. If it can not happen, or it does not happen within a reasonable time, you can, depending on the circumstances, get your money back or a reduction in the price.

If you discover a defect, you must complain to us within a reasonable time. We recommend that you complain as soon as possible, especially in the case of transport damage.

If you complain within 2 months after the defect is discovered, it is always within reasonable time. If the complaint is justified and accepted by our team, we will refund your reasonable and necessary shipping costs. Therefore, save your receipt.

If you want to complain to us about a defect, we ask you to state in as much detail as possible what the problem is. It is not a requirement, but it makes it easier for us to find the error and it minimizes the processing time for the complaint.

7.1 Disputes

We operate a complaints handling procedure which we will use to try to resolve disputes when they first arise. Please let us know if you have any complaints or comments.

8. Other terms

Gift certificates

Gift certificates are valid for 3 years. Any residual value can be redeemed till the gift card expires.

Use of equipment in the Armed Forces

GrejFreak ApS cannot guarantee that the purchased goods may be used in connection with the service in the Danish Armed Forces or in other countries for that matter. GrejFreak ApS cannot guarantee that equipment that can be mounted on military weapons may be used in connection with service in the armed forces or in connection with live fire and trainings ammunition.

GrejFreak ApS does not take responsibility for equipment used for any purposes other than what the equipment is intended to be used. GrejFreak ApS does not take any responsibility due to lack of permission for official use of the equipment.
