This sharpening set contains 4 different whetstones, a coarse whetstone, a medium whetstone, a fine whetstone and a whetstone for wavy and serrated blades. We recommend purchasing an additional table holder, as it greatly facilitates the sanding work.

  • A coarse red whetstone - grit 120 for rough grinding.
  • Medium green whetstone - grit 280 for less frequent sharpening and maintenance of your blade.
  • Fine blue whetstone - grit 600 for frequent touch-ups to keep the blade super sharp.
  • Fine triangular whetstone - used for knives with wavy edges and serrated blades
  • Safety holders fitted to each whetstone. The holders are knurled for better grip and in different colors.
  • One guide bar for each whetstone.
  • Knife Clamp with angle instructions.
  • Extra screw for the clamp (used for thicker blades).
  • Storage box with space for all parts, helps you keep track of all the parts.
  • Grinding oil specially designed for use when sharpening knives (for diamond sharpeners we recommend using water instead of oil.

Recommended grinding angles:

  • 17° Angle - This angle is recommended for razor blades, scalpels and the like. blades. Gives an incredibly sharp knife edge, which, however, needs to be sharpened often.
