Monsoon XT Gen. 2 GORE-TEX Rain jacket from UF PRO is the ultimate military jacket. The Monsoon XT rain jacket has a GORE-TEX three-layer waterproof and breathable material, so you neither get wet in heavy rain nor overheat at high activity levels. The Monsoon XT Jacket can be adjusted at both the hip and the sleeves, so it fits you perfectly.
Among the jacket's practical features is its air/pac technology, which is incorporated into the fabric at the shoulders. This provides an extra lining to the rain jacket, which is light in weight and ensures that you are not affected by the cold from cold rain and wind. The Monsoon XT Jacket gets increased strength and increased durability against heat, thanks to its ePTFE membrane.
The jacket is designed with a unique hood that, when adjusted to your size, offers maximum mobility and protection from rain without affecting your vision. This can be essential in low light situations and stormy weather where orientation can be very important. Since the hood does not use straps to tie around your head, it also provides extra ventilation and does not impede your hearing when you need to catch sounds from your surroundings.
To reduce excess heat in high-motion situations, the Monsoon XT Gen. 2 the rain jacket has two side zips that can be zipped down for a ventilating/cooling effect. In order to increase the effectiveness of the jacket, it is also designed with extra length, so you have increased protection in situations where you either have to lie on the ground or kneel down for extended periods.
The jacket is equipped with a set of upper and lower sleeve pockets , providing lightning-fast access to essential gear on the go. These pockets are designed to be waterproof so gear that should be dry stays dry. The same applies to the rain jacket's two breast pockets, which offer additional space for your gear.
