The new generation of the classic mechanical rope brake Grigri 2 from Petzl. This rope brake provides all the familiar qualities of the Grigri 2 but at the same time adds more. The brake can be set to 2 sensitivities, resp. one which is intended for top rope climbing and one which is intended for first person climbing. In addition, an anti-panic function has been added, which means that the climber cannot be lowered too quickly using the handle. Grigri + can take ropes with a diameter ranging from 8.5 mm-11 mm.
