Nikwax - TX.Direct Wash-In Waterproofer
Description
TX.Direct Wash-In is a watrproofing agent for use after washing your waterproof clothing with Tech Wash. It is, however, not necessary after every wash. If you're unsure whether your clothes are still waterproof, you can beneficially put it to the test by pouring water on it. If the water gathers in little droplets, it's still waterproof. If it instead is absorbed, it would be a good idea to re-waterproof it.
Nikwax products contain a special elastomer that coats textiles and leather, but doesn't close completely, so there's still room for maintaining the breathability. Additionally, the Nikwax products preserves the tear resistance in the equipment, so it remains tough.
Using gloves is recommended if you wash your items by hand.
Always follow the washing instructions on the clothes!
