Description
PowerLock EOD from SOG Knives is a multi-tool with 18 tools supplied with a nylon sheath. By using the proven PowerLock framework, SOG is the only manufacturer to use their patented Compound Leverage mechanism to EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal). This ensures it is easy to crimp blasting caps and demolition cord with less hand pressure.
Another distinctive SOG trademark is the location of the crimper device within the framework of the handle and not in the plier jaw, as seen in each and every other designs. This have the positive effect of minimizing collateral damage to the crimper and gives the operator the space to have full use of the uninterrupted plier surface. Furthermore, there is no weakening of the pliers that typically results in breakage of the plier tips. The crimper produces non-flaring, high pull out strenght crimps that abides fuse well specifications set by the american government. All GSA approved. Includes hard wire cutter aswell.
