The XL-1 AD COMM Smoke / Clear / Rust Matte Black Sunglasses (3 lenses) from Wiley X are based on the XL-1 ADVANCED model now with new cool features in the form of ultra thin COMM frame temples. The COMM frame temples are specially designed to reduce the pressure on the side of your head when you wear sunglasses with hearing protection or other equipment for extended periods of time.
The Comm frame temples provide high comfort to the experienced and discerning operator which is why three different lenses are included: smoke grey, clear and light rust - each of which has a lot of benefits. All lenses block 100% of the sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays and they are made of polycarbonate which is shatterproof. In addition, the surface is protected from scratches.
Smoke grey absorbs all colors equally giving the same color perception as without sunglasses making them perfect for use in very bright environments. Smoke grey provides maximum reduction of glare.
Clear protects the eye and the surrounding facial structures and the lens provides maximum light transmission which gives a better picture of the exact colors which is why they are perfect for use in cloudy, dark environments and indoors.
Rust filters out mostly blue color waves and the lens minimizes glare and improves vision in fog making them perfect for use in low light environments.
