Wildo
The story behind Wildo
The company Wildo was established by Ingvar Svantesson back in 1979. Here he came up with the idea of the well-known cup, plate and cutlery that many people know and often use on their trips in nature. The idea behind the Wildo products was that he wanted to make the equipment easier to carry, for those who traveled in nature. He believed that the equipment that most people used at the time could be made easier and less cumbersome to carry. Functionality was very important when it came to the products and they had to be able to do most things for any purpose. The products should be light and durable, and then they should be easy to fit together. To create a product, he talked to Jan Andersson, who was a former captain in the Swedish army. Jan was able to contribute with all his experiences and knowledge of how the gear should work in the most primitive conditions. As a result of their collaboration, they made their famous cups and plates. To ensure that the quality remains high, production takes place in Borås, Sweden. They have been doing this for the last 35 years.
What is Wildo?
You have probably come across a Wildo product without realizing it. Wildo produces cups, plates and cutlery, which are produced from plastic and are easy to carry on the go.
